Epsilon Telescopes

Epsilon has developed a modular pier system for small and medium sized telescopes (up to 8" fork mounted instruments in equatorial), the piers will also accommodate Meade 10" and Celestron 11" scopes in Alt/Az. The piers are available in three heights (using the optional extensions) and can be fitted with a range of optional extras, such as eyepiece shelves and levelling feet. All the parts, with the exception of the Shelf Retaining Ring, are made from Aluminium and Stainless Steel.

If you would like a pier head for a telescope/mount not listed then we can produce a custom head to suit your own requirements. The piers are available in white and black powder coated finish.

Our New MkII pier features a slot to allow the tightening of GP and similar mounts once polar aligned. This means strength is not compromised by having a large cutout.

This feature also allows LX90/LX200 mounts to be orientated correctly.

Please note the slot is also a feature of the mating pier extensions.
